Introductory Scuba Diving

In February 2012, my family and I went to Australia. We had the exciting opportunity of going introductory scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. Introductory scuba diving is when the instructor watches you to make sure you are alright as you scuba dive. They make you watch a video, take a test, and sign a liability form before they let you scuba dive. After the liability form and test, they take you into the ocean close to the boat to pratice drills in case an emergency happens underwater. After I had passed the test and had completed the drills, the instructor finally let me start my dive. It is breathtaking to see what is living down in the ocean. The coral reef was beautiful. There was a whole diferent world down there! Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef is an accomplishment and achievement I will never forget!
