Special Olympics

I have been doing special olympics bocce ball for 2 years now. I started out joining bocce ball in the eighth grade, and then I saw how happy the participants get when you help them on one of their funnest days of the year. Seeing the smiles on their faces and their happiness, I decided I would also do it in the ninth grade. I kept the commitment I made and helped with special olympics last year as well. Both years, I helped as a ball boy. I would retrieve the balls after the olympians had rolled them. Seeing the participants' happiness again last year motivated me to help with special olympics every year I can.
